Associate faculty now have another opportunity to achieve their correct column placement
The deadline to submit transcripts to Human Resources is September 3rd.
Our faculty union, WVMFT, worked with the District and advocated that Human Resources give associate faculty another opportunity to turn in college transcripts. The goal is to get more associate faculty placed on their correct salary column. If associate faculty did not turn in their transcripts last Spring and have them reviewed by HR, they were placed on column-B. Many associate faculty missed HR's deadline to turn in transcripts and so we worked to get an extension.
WVMFT strongly urges all associate faculty to turn in their college transcripts if a review would result in placement at column-C or higher.
WVMFT recommends that you collect all official transcripts into one packet and then bring them in-person to HR. You should do this by September 3rd if you are teaching Fall 2019 or Spring 2020.
