Based on the Cervisi Court case part-time faculty are eligible to file for unemployment during their winter and summer breaks.  On the form you need to write that you do NOT have a guarantee of future employment and cite the Cervisi Court case.  If you are working other places during those breaks, it may reduce or eliminate your unemployment insurance, depending upon how much you earn.  Any Questions, contact Karen Chan, Kate Disney, Ellen Yu Costa, or Jory Segal
